ABC Receives Complaints About Adam Lambert’s AMA Performance
ABC is saying that they have received more than 1,500 complaints from people about Adam Lambert’s sexually-charged performance at the American Music Awards last night.
Lambert performed his latest single, For Your Entertainment on stage, which involved him simulating oral sex with a male dancer and making out with one of the band members.
Although people watching in the east coast saw original version, west coasters saw the edited one. Lambert responded by saying,
“There’s a big double standard, female pop artists have been doing things provocative like that for years, and the fact that I’m a male, and I’ll be edited and discriminated against could be a problem.
“People are scared and it’s really sad, I just wish people could open their minds up and enjoy things, it’s all for a laugh, it’s really not that big of a deal.”
