Fox Renews ‘Glee’ For Second Season

Fox has picked up Glee for a second season, with an early renewal.

The network also announced that during its hiatus, they are launching a nationwide casting search to fill three new roles for the second season.

According to the press release:

“Auditions will be open to amateur individuals as well as professionals between the ages of 16-26, and all hopefuls will be able to submit auditions online. Additional details will be announced soon [via] fox.com/glee.”

The audition process will be seen on television as part of a reality special which will air at the end of the summer.

Fox president, Kevin Reilly said, “We’re going to pull back the curtain on the process. And the winners will be revealed in the first episode of the season.”
