Jeff Bridges Wins Best Actor for ‘Crazy Heart’
Actor Jeff Bridges won the Best Actor award for his performance as Bad Blake in Crazy Heart.
He beat out George Clooney (Up in the Air), Colin Firth (A Single Man), Morgan Freeman (Invictus) and Tobey Maguire (Brothers).
When NYGossipGirl talked to Bridges last month, he wasn’t originally going to play Bad Blake.
“First I turned it down because there was no music and it’s about music…finally, when things came into place, a year after, T Bone [Burnett] fell in place and I was there.”
