‘Glee’ Wins Big at Golden Globes

Fox’s hit TV show, Glee has beat 30 Rock and won the Best Television Series – Comedy/Musical.

Glee was up against Entourage, Modern Family, The Office and 30 Rock.

“Thank you to the Hollywood Foreign Press and Miss Barbra Streisand,” said “Glee” creator Ryan Murphy during his acceptance speech. “We would like to thank all the wonderful people who actually thought a musical would work on primetime televsion.“

Glee star Lea Michele was up for the Best Actress award in a musical/comedy, but lost to The United States of Tara star Toni Colette and Jane Lynch was nominated for best supporting actress in a musical/comedy, but lost out to Big Love’s Chloë Sevigny.

Glee returns to fox in April, after American Idol finishes its season.
