Julia Roberts Wants to Rub Natalie Portman’s Feet After Seeing Black Swan

It’s not the reaction that everyone had after watching Natalie Portman’s performance of a perfection-driven ballerina, but Julia Roberts admired the actresses portrayal so much that she wanted to have her over “to our home to hug her, tell her all the wondrous things we think of her, rub her weary feet and make her the biggest, most delicious dinner she could ever eat!”

In an article in Variety Roberts shared her thoughts on Portman’s performance in Darren Aronosfky’s Black Swan. She wrote: ”It is an interesting endeavor, watching a friend in a film. It is a risk to agree to write an article about a friend in a film. With someone like my subject today, Natalie Portman, it seemed worth the risk. She is always lovely, always watchable, always interesting. Then there is ‘Black Swan.’ If only I could reach out from the page now and offer you a glass of terribly good wine and ask you to sit a while.

Anne Hathaway and James Franco’s New Gig: Co-Hosting the Oscars

Anne Hathaway and James Franco will be sharing the stage during the 2011 Academy Awards, which the duo will co-host.

Hathaway and Franco “personify the next generation of Hollywood icons— fresh, exciting and multi-talented,” the Academy said in a statement. “We hope to create an Oscar broadcast that will both showcase their incredible talents and entertain the world on February 27.”

Leslie Nielsen Dies at 84

Leslie Nielsen has died of complications from pneumonia in a hospital near his home in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He was 84.

His family released a statement saying: “We are saddened by the passing of beloved actor Leslie Nielsen, probably best remembered as Lt. Frank Drebin in The Naked Gun series of pictures, but who enjoyed a more than 60 year career in motion pictures and television.”

Nielsen is best known for his role in the Airplane film franchise.

According to his nephew, “in this last 48 hours, the infection has gotten too much. He just fell asleep and passed away.”

Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal Get Cozy in Nashville

Just days after enjoying maple lattes together in Brooklyn’s Park Slope on Thanksgiving, Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal are getting cozy in Taylor’s hometown, Nashville.

According to a diner who spotted the couple at a coffeehouse and café near Vanderbilt University and Music Row, “they were smiling and laughing. They were talking a lot and enjoying each other’s company. They didn’t look like [just] friends.”

The pair was first spotted together in late October in Brooklyn.

Another eyewitness said:  ”They were not trying to be discreet by any means. They were definitely a couple. They looked very happy.”

First Look: Hangover II Plot Revealed

Warner Bros. has release the first official photo from the upcoming sequel Hangover 2.

The studio revealed the plot about how Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) find trouble when Helms gets married in the exotic setting of Thailand.

Here’s the synopsis: “After the unforgettable bachelor party in Las Vegas, Stu is taking no chances and has opted for a safe, subdued pre-wedding brunch. However, things don’t always go as planned. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Bangkok can’t even be imagined.”

Mila Kunis On Weighing 95 Pounds: ‘All You Saw Was Bone’

Mila Kunis had to drop 20 pounds to play a ballerina in Black Swan.

“I could see why this industry is so f–ked up, because at 95 pounds, I would literally look at myself in the mirror and I was like, Oh my God!” she told E! Online about her dramatic weight loss. “I had no shape, no boobs, no ass…All you saw was bone. I was like, This looks gross.”

“In real life, it looked disgusting,” she continued. “But in photographs and on film, it looked amazing.”

Although it took her five months to lose the weight, it took just five days to put the weight back on.

Will Ferrell Happy to Be Most Overpaid Actor

It might not be the best title in the world, but Will Ferrell doesn’t care.

“Isn’t that the whole point? I mean, aren’t we all striving to be overpaid?” said Ferrell of the Forbes magazine title.

“Apparently I’m living the American dream without even trying,” he continued.

His recent movie, Megamind has been topping the box office for a second week in a row.

Christian Bale strikes a pose on the cover of Esquire’s December issue. Here’s what the 36-year-old actor opened up about:

On keeping his family and personal life private: “Look, I’ve got incredible pride for my family. I’ve absolutely fallen into that cliché of a dad who could just happily talk about my daughter endlessly. But it’s not what I’m about in terms of being an actor. I don’t want people to know about that…I don’t want people to know me….Because that buggers up my job. Because if you know something about somebody, it gets in the way of just watching the guy as the character.”

On what he would have done if he wasn’t an actor: “I think I probably would have tried to experience my own stories in the way my father did — the sort of travel, the randomness of life, educating himself through experiences. I think I get that partially through acting, but you have to make an effort to be in an unprotected environment because everyone thinks you’re a completely incapable idiot who couldn’t possibly brush his teeth without an assistant. You have to make an effort in order to be able to actually experience the country that you’re in.”

On who he admires: “Chris Farley was just phenomenal. Beverly Hills Ninja will always remain one of my tops. I have watched that movie. One time I sat down and watched it two nights in a row, and cried with laughter both times. The guy just was a phenomenon, and is missed dearly in my household.”

Anne Hathaway Wants to Guest Star on Glee

Anne Hathaway has already mentally written herself a part for Glee.

The actress is huge fan of the show and has spent hours creating her own character.

Hathaway appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon where she revealed: ”I would love to be on Glee. Can I make a confession? In my head I’ve written a part for myself in ‘Glee’! It’s so arrogant and obnoxious, it’s like, ‘Ryan Murphy no one else wants to be on your show.’But in my head I’ve cast myself and I know which song I’d sing. I would want to play Kurt’s long-lost aunt, his mother’s sister who is also gay, who comes back to help him deal with his sexuality and I would sing ‘No One Is Alone’ from Stephen Sondheim’s epic show ‘Into the Woods’.”

Daniel Day-Lewis to Play Lincoln in Steven Spielberg Film

Daniel Day-Lewis will play the 16th President of the United States in Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln.

The film centers around the “political collision of Abraham Lincoln and the powerful men of his cabinet on the road to abolition and the end of the Civil War.”

“Daniel Day-Lewis would have always been counted as one of the greatest of actors, were he from the silent era, the golden age of film or even some time in cinema’s distant future,” said Spielberg. “I am grateful and inspired that our paths will finally cross with Lincoln.”

It was rumored a while back that Liam Neeson would play the lead role.

Lincoln begins filming in 2012.

First Look: Katie Holmes as Jackie O in The Kennedys

The film stars Katie Homes as the former first-lady, Greg Kinnear as John F. Kennedy, Barry Pepper as Bobby Kennedy and Tom Wilkinson as Joe Kennedy.

The film, which will air on the History Channel has caused controversy, with historians criticising the script for containing factual errors.

Reportedly, a line in an earlier version of the script had the former president talking about his infidelities, saying, “If I don’t have someone new, I have migraines that wreck me”.
