Jonathan Rhys Meyers Hospitalized After Alleged Suicide Attempt

Jonathan Rhys Meyers was hospitalized in London this week after an alleged suicide attempt involving pills.

According to a report, the 33-year-old Tudors actor was found slumped on the floor of his home Tuesday night by paramedics answering an emergency call.

Meyers, who has battled alcohol addiction over the years, reportedly refused treatment, so the paramedics called the police.

He was then taken to hospital.

According to a Scotland Yard spokesman: “We can confirm we were called by the London Ambulance Service to an address in NW8 to report to a man refusing treatment. Police attended, and the man was taken by ambulance to a central London hospital. That was the end of our involvement.”

Meyers was reportedly discharged from hospital early Wednesday.

Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz have tied the knot in a secret ceremony in New York last Wednesday,

A rep for Weisz confirms the news.

There were only four guests in attendance - Craig’s daughter Ella, 18, and Weisz’s son Henry, 5, as well as two family friends who acted as witnesses.

The pair star together in the upcoming film Dream House, which they filmed late last year.

Daniel and his fiancee Satsuki Mitchell split last year after five years together.

Rachel and her longtime partner Darren Aronofsky split last year after nine years together.

Taylor Lautner: New Abduction Poster

Check out the new poster for Taylor Lautner’s upcoming thriller, Abduction.

The film follows a teen (Lautner) who finds himself in mortal danger after realizing that his entire childhood has been built on lies. Realizing that the people who raised him aren’t his real parents after stumbling across a childhood photo of himself on a Web site devoted to missing children, he flees for his life.

Lily Collins stars opposite Lautner in the film.

Abduction is set to hit theaters on Sept. 23.

Emma Stone Offered Pride and Prejudice and Zombies Lead

Lionsgate has offered Emma Stone the female lead in its upcoming Pride and Prejudice and Zombies film.

Before offering Stone the lead, the studio was also eyeing Anne Hathaway, Mia Wasikowska and Scarlett Johansson for the role.

If she accepts, Stone will play Elizabeth Bennet, a zombie-killing heroine who sees her quest to save England from the undead made more difficult by the arrival of Fitzwilliam Darcy.

The role was originally filled by Natalie Portman and has been vacant since the Oscar-winning actress decided to act solely in a producing capacity on the pic. a

George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis Split

George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis have ended their relationship after dating for two years.

The 50-year-old actor and 32-year-old actress released a joint statement on Wednesday (June 22) confirming their breakup.

“We are not together anymore. It’s very difficult and very personal, and we hope everyone can respect our privacy.”

The pair were last seen together in mid-June when they went to dinner in Como, Italy.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux Get Close in New York

Jennifer Aniston and new beau Justin Theroux are all smiles as they pose for black-and-white photos while they were out recently in New York City.

The images were posted Wednesday by photographer Terry Richardson.

The couple, who have been reportedly dating since May, took the photos in New York’s SoHo neighborhood after having dinner with Richardson, per his blog.

According to a source, Aniston is “very happy with Justin,” and “He’s a great guy.”

Eliza Dushku: White Collar’s New Guest Star

Dollhouse alum Eliza Dushku is making a guest appearance on an upcoming episode of White Collar.

Jeff Eastin, the show’s creator said that Dushku will play a character “who’s obviously very sexy” and has a short fling with one of the show’s regular characters.

Eastin also said that there’s a possibility for Dushku to be brought back for future episodes.

“We did it in such a way that if it works out, we could bring her back,” he explained.

According to THR, she’ll appear in the third season’s ninth episode.

White Collar kicks off its third season on Tuesday (June 7) at 9/8c on USA.

Joaquin Phoenix, Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Renner Join Low Life

Joaquin Phoenix and Marion Cotillard have joined James Gray’s Low Life, with Jeremy Renner in negotiations to join the film as well.

The movie will center around a woman (Cotillard) who immigrates to America from Poland. During her journey to Ellis Island, she is forced to trade sexual favors for medicine and food to help her ailing sister, then once she arrives in America she falls victim to “a sleazebag” (Phoenix) who advises her to become a prostitute.

Renner is in talks to play Phoenix’s cousin, a charming magician who falls for Cotillard’s character.

Low Life will begin filming next year.
