Kim Kardashian Filing for Divorce

Kim Kardashian is filing for divorce from Kris Humphries just 72 days after tying the knot.

“Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning,” Ryan Seacrest announced via his Twitter account. “I touched base with her.”

Reportedly (via TMZ) the 30-year-old reality star has hired lawyer Laura Wasser and will cite the usual “irreconcilable differences.

The date of separation will be listed as today, Oct. 31, 2011.

Before they tied the knot, both Kardashian and Humphries signed a prenuptial agreement so that their respective assets would be protected in the case of a split.

Blu-ray DVD Review: Winnie the Pooh

Not every movie brings you back to your childhood nostalgia – especially if you grew up reading A. A. Milne’s iconic book.

However, with Disney’s new remake, the studio moves away from presenting a re-imagining or incorporating visual effects that are just not necessary and simply uses the traditional animated filmmaking that brings to life everyone’s favorite stuffed bear.

The film takes place during an ordinary day in Hundred Acre Wood where Winnie the Pooh sets out to find some honey.

On his search for honey, Winnie the Pooh misinterprets a note from Christopher Robin and after he hears advice from Owl – that Christopher Robin has been kidnapped by an evil creature named Backson – Winnie the Pooh and his gang Tigger, Eeyore, Rabbit, Owl, Kanga and Roo set out to find and save Christopher Robin.

The film is brilliantly hand drawn and captures the storyline beautifully.

Not only is the film a must-see for children, but also a delight for parents as well.

Jason Segel and Reese Witherspoon Might Make a Sex Tape

Sony is eyeing Jason Segel and Reese Witherspoon for the lead roles in its upcoming comedy Sex Tape.

The film follows a married couple who, on a night off from their kids, decide to make a sex tape. They wake up in the morning to find the tape missing and go on an adventure to find it.

Nicholas Stoller, who directed Forgetting Sarah Marshall and co-scripted The Muppets with Segel, is in talks to direct the film.

In addition to Witherspoon, Sony is also looking at Emily Blunt, Rose Byrne, Amy Adams and Jennifer Garner as possible female leads.

Anne Hathaway to Star, Produce Thriller Puzzler

Anne Hathaway is in talks to produce and star in Paramount’s upcoming thriller Puzzler.

According to the studio, the film is a female-centric, paranoia thriller similar to Three Days of the Condor, a movie that stars Robert Redford who finds his CIA researcher co-workers dead and must figure out why as he tries to stay steps ahead of the assassins.

Karl Gajdusek who recently wrote the screenplay for Trespass, starring Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman, will pen Puzzler.

This will be Hathaway’s first time producing.

Justin Timberlake: Ryan Gosling and I Stole a Golf Cart

Mickey Mouse Club alums Justin Timberlake and Ryan Gosling were quite the mischievous duo back in the day.

During an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the 30-year-old singer said he and Gosling took part in a little criminal mischief during their time on the show.

“We used to do terrible things,” said Timberlake. “We stole a golf cart. And we’re like, ‘Yeah, man. We’re stealing a golf cart.’ But meanwhile, you know what? It’s like on a backlot. There’s just golf carts everywhere.”

“So, we stole the golf cart, and we drove into MGM Studios, which is totally illegal by the way,” he continued. “I was like, ‘What you want to do, thug?’ And [Ryan] was like, ‘I don’t know, cuz.’ Because that’s definitely how we talked.”

“I was like, ‘I don’t know man. I’m in the mood for some vanilla.’ He was like, ‘I’m in the mood for some chocolate.’ So, we went and got milkshakes.”

Little fact - Timberlake and Gosling lived together for six months when they were about 10. Gosling’s mother had to keep her job in Canada – and Timberlake’s mother became Ryan’s temporary guardian.

“We were probably a little closer that the rest of the kids,” said Timberlake, “Just because we had to share a bathroom.”

Johnny Depp To Play Dr. Seuss in Biopic

Johnny Depp is in talks of developing and starring in a biopic about Dr. Seuss.

Depp is reportedly the biopic through his production banner Infinitum Nihil in collaboration with Illumination Entertainment.

Universal Pictures will distribute the project and Keith Bunin (In Treatment) has been tapped to pen the screenplay.

Dr. Seuss published 46 children’s books, which were often characterized by imaginative characters, rhyme, and frequent use of trisyllabic meter.

The film stars Lily Collins as Snow White, Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen and Armie Hammer as the Prince.

Nathan Lane and Sean Bean are also in the film.

There’s also another Snow White movie set for a 2012 release.

Snow White and the Huntsman stars Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron.

The untitled Snow White movie opens March 16, 2012.

Lea Michele: “Glee Give A Note”

Glee’s Lea Michele stepped out on the red carpet for the premiere of FX Network’s “American Horror Story” at the Cinerama Dome on Oct. 3, 2011 in Los Angeles, California.

Glee Season 2 DVD is donating $1 dollar from every Blu-ray and DVD sold to help save music and arts programs in public schools with a $1 million commitment.

The program, called “Glee Give a Note,” is a partnership between 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment and the National Association for Music Education, in which 73 schools across the country will receive grants ranging from $10,000 up to $50,000.

A nationwide “call for entries” process is underway, but the Oct. 17 deadline is approaching and cultural programs in need should submit a video explaining why they need the funds at www.GleeGiveANote.com
